Does Technology have a positive or negative effective on America’s future education system? Livening in today’s age we see the use of technology everywhere. People are constantly on their phones, looking for the newest update on life. We have heard about the positive and negative impacts of technology in our society. However, how has this affected our schools teaching environment? Studies have shown that technology advancement is the way of the future. Firstly, technology has had a high influence on modern day schools. Eighty-Four percent of schools have high-speed internet (StatisticBrain). Seventy-seven percent of teachers use the internet to help teach (StatisticBrain). The use for technology is high and valuable. It helps to improve†¦show more content†¦John Pennisi worked in teaching high school students for over seven years. He was with the school before and after they introduced iPad as a teaching improvement. Mr. Pennisi has also attained many academic awards for his teaching skills from the Private school administration. Mr. Pennisi says that his overall experience with use of iPads had been a positive experience. â€Å"I see a lot of value in the iPads here at SMR. It Shows that we’re an innovative School committed to integrating technology into our curriculum and class work† (Pennisi). He believes that in this day in age the methods need to be able to adapt to the twenty-first century. Fifthly, questioned Mr. Pennisi if he would recommend any teachers to switch to technology based teaching. He detailed that teachers should change their ways if they want their students to thrive. â€Å"I believe that any teachers committed to meeting the needs of his or her students in 2017 should look to integrate technology into the classroom† (Pennisi). He says that improvement could either involvement of iPads or laptops that are available for student use (Pennisi) Improvement could also just be online tools for the students. Our Students need changes to grow in this world. The Education System in America needs to adapt to modern day techniques.
